Shomari Figures helped implement a policy that gutted over $700 billion from Medicare, raised taxes by $1 trillion, resulted in thousands of Alabama families losing their health insurance plans and increased health insurance premiums

Prisoner Release

Figures was a top advisor to a program that allowed all federal prisoners, no matter how heinous their crime, to apply to be released early from prison. It was blasted for being poorly planned and implemented.

Reduced Sentences for Criminals

Figures worked to reduce sentences for criminals and paved the way for them to be released back onto our streets. Some have been released as part of this program are back in prison in AL for murder and drug trafficking.
