Defunding the Police and Making Schools Less Safe

Kristen McDonald-Rivet has been endorsed by and taken money from radical organizations that have called for de-funding the police. She has voted against funding school resource officers and has called for an overhaul of policing, saying that “it was a structure put in place to oppress”

Kristen McDonald-Rivet voted to continue giving taxpayer-funded scholarships to college students who are actively supporting terrorist organizations and threaten violence against other students

Tax Increases, Energy Prices, and Pay Raises

As a Bay City Commissioner and State Senator, Kristen McDonald-Rivet supported raising taxes and fees for Michiganders, including higher income taxes, higher property taxes on homeowners, increased energy prices, and increased water and sewer rates. She even voted to give herself a taxpayer-funded pay raise

In the State Senate, Kristen McDonald-Rivet voted for a California-style energy policy in Michigan that would raise utility bills by $2,700 a year and has been backed by radical environmental groups. She even supported allowing local Michigan government officials to ban natural gas stoves

In the State Senate, Kristen McDonald-Rivet opposed legislation that would have required energy infrastructure to be manufactured in the United States. She even voted to give one-hundred and seventy-five million dollars of Michigan taxpayers’ money to a Chinese manufacturing company tied to the Chinese Communist Party

lllegal immigrants are coming across the country’s southern border every month and bringing dangerous drugs like fentanyl into the United States. Yet, Kristen McDonald-Rivet has repeatedly criticized efforts to secure the border, refused to ban sanctuary cities, supported providing taxpayer-funded lawyers for illegal immigrants, and voted against increasing punishments for fentanyl distribution.
