Voters will learn that Lori Chavez-DeRemer is a bipartisan results-getter for Oregon. Chavez-DeRemer was ranked as the second most bipartisan member in Congress after she championed legislation to help reduce homelessness, get dangerous fentanyl off the streets, protect IVF for women, and reduce the cost of living for Oregonians.
(10.8.24) Voters need to learn that Janelle Bynum is the subject of a complaint alleging she willfully covered up alleged sexual harassment and assault of a minor.
(10.14.24) Pacific Green Party voters and modeled Democrat-leaning non affiliated voters in OR-05 need to read that Pacific Green Party candidate Andrea Townsend stands with Palestinians and supports cutting off all funding from the United States to Israel. Meanwhile Democrat Janelle Bynum stands with Israel and believes the U.S. should continue funding Israel’s war in Gaza.

Lori Chavez-DeRemer was the first female and Hispanic Mayor of Happy Valley from 2010-2018 where she led Oregon’s fastest-growing community. As Mayor, Lori presided over important changes in the city, making it more business-friendly, offer more affordable housing options for families, and a safe place to build a career and raise a family.
Lori continued to shatter glass ceilings when she was elected the first Hispanic Republican and first Republican woman member of Congress from Oregon. In Congress, Lori has led bipartisan legislation to help reduce homelessness, get dangerous fentanyl off the streets, protect IVF for women, and reduce the cost of living for Oregonians. That’s why Lori was ranked as Oregon’s most bipartisan member of Congress and the second most bipartisan member of Congress in the entire country.
Lori is married to her high school sweetheart, Dr. Shawn DeRemer. She helped Shawn found Anesthesia Associates Northwest, and they now run several medical clinics throughout the Pacific Northwest. Lori and Shawn are the parents of twin daughters.
