This is a conservative district both socially and fiscally. Fiscal issues like taxes, wasteful spending, and debt are all effective issues. ObamaCare, the failed stimulus, and Cap-and-Trade also play well with voters. Anything too extreme will turn the voters off. This is a socially conservative district and issues of abortion, guns and gay marriage work well. Barack Obama and especially Nancy Pelosi are not viewed favorably in this district.
