Bill Foster Subtitle

This is a fiscally conservative but socially liberal district. Taxes work in this district but should never be referred to as the Bush tax cuts. Wasteful Washington spending and debt are also effective issues. Any social issues including abortion, the environment, gay marriage, and public education do not work here.

Important to note, Obamacare (and President Obama) are viewed favorably in this district. The terms Obamacare, the President’s Healthcare Law, and the Affordable Care Act should not be used. However, certain parts of the legislation can be addressed separately as stand-alone issues, including the $500 billion cuts to Medicare, IPAB, taxes, etc.
